Marching On

Week one - March 4, 2010

  • See

    Crush

Three 40-something women in a small English town meet weekly for a ritual of gin, cigarettes, and sweets; swapping stories, arguing which of them has the most pathetic love life. When Kate, a local Headmistress begins a fling with a handsome, passionate younger man, her friends can't simply be happy for the couple's unusual new romance. In jealousy they promptly take it upon themselves to break up the pair, taking drastic measures which result in unintended outcomes, some happy and some tragic.

    West Beach Bathers Pavilion

West Beach is located in the Melbourne suburb of St Kilda. West Beach is a beautiful beach close to the hustle and bustle of St Kilda but in a more relaxed area, opposite Catani Gardens, looking back at the pier.

Here people come to kiteboard, walk their dogs, sun bake, play volleyball, run and walk along the beach on Beaconsfield Parade and enjoy a meal or beverage at The West Beach Bathers Pavilion

The Pavilion offers a casual, relaxed, no pressure atmosphere. There are meal and beverage offerings to suit every budget. We suggest trying the famous scones, vanilla ice or meals from the grill. Old fashioned spiders and delicious ice creams also available. If you're that way inclined an icy cold beer is on offer.
