  1.4 billion people on our planet live in extreme poverty. The Global Poverty Project seeks to invigorate the global movement to take effective concerted action on poverty through the presentation 1.4 billion reasons.
  Launched on the 4th of this month, this simple yet ground-breaking presentation is travelling the world, inspiring and empowering audiences in its path. Based on leading research, the 90 minute presentation clearly articulates the facts of extreme poverty and demonstrates that by making simple changes everyone can be a part of the solution.
  Compelling and challenging, the presentation moves audiences to take action and become a part of the movement to end extreme poverty.

  Disgrace

  Disgrace is a powerful movie, set in post-apartheid South Africa. David Lurie, a 52 year old English professor, twice-divorced and dissatisfied with his job, finds his life falling apart. When he seduces one of his students, and in doing nothing to protect himself from the consequences, he is dismissed from his teaching position, and takes refuge on his daughter's farm in the Eastern Cape. For a time, his daughter's influence and natural rhythms of the farm promise to harmonise his discordant life. But the balance of power in the country is shifting. In the aftermath of a vicious attack on the farm, he is forced to come to terms with more than his disgrace alone.

  Belle Roscoe Launch

  Melbourne-based harmony folk-pop family band, Belle Roscoe has returned from Europe to perform one show in Melbourne to celebrate the release of their self titled debut album; full of gorgeous sibling harmonies, a strong melodic pop sensibility and adventurous arrangements.
