    The Lake House

    The Lake House is a must do destination in Daylesford. Whilst pricey to stay there, lunch or dinner is a more achievable option. Enjoy the gorgeous view of the lake while dining on delicious cuisine by the fire. Be inundated with a plethora of options from the extensive wine list & choose from a range of menu options according to your budget (best if it's generous!). The staff are also very helpful.

    Wake in Fright

    Australian cinematic classic Wake In Fright has been unearthed and digitally restored to pristine condition. The film is being re-released to enable a new Australian audience to discover this cult classic thriller.

    Starring Chips Rafferty and a young Jack Thompson, Wake in Fright is the story of young bond teacher, John Grant, who works in a small town in the outback. Set in an era before regular plane travel, John, making his way to Sydney for the holidays, stops over night in Bundayabba. Drawn into "the Yabba's" culture of drinking and gambling he becomes embroiled in the local's insular and threatening world.
