  • Food

    Supper Inn

Hidden in one of Melbourne's many laneways, this ridiculously popular Chinese restaurant is a wonderful, cheap and cheerful eating destination. Bookings accepted, otherwise you can wait a short time in the line that is guaranteed to be out the front.

  • Watch

    Freedom Writers

Yes, the story follows a film cliche; uncontrollable class, new teacher comes along, they initially hate her and then she changes their lives. But unlike past films of this plot, this one is based on a true story. It paints a vivid picture of the life and times of the rough suburbs of LA and the effect it has on the lives and psyche of the young who live amongst it. It stars Hilary Swank and as per usual she delivers a wonderful performance.

Bouncing around without a care in the world, defying gravity, what more could a child want? Maybe to feel safe doing it. Accidents on the average trampoline are so common, but now they can have the jumping fun minus the possibility of pain.
Spring Free Trampolines are just that, spring free! They have a safe netting wall surrounding it to prevent flying off onto dry land & therefore preventing any accidents involving springs (we've all been there).
Great Christmas present idea for the kids!
Prices start at $885.00. Lay-by available.

  • Read

    The Dice Man

This dark comedic novel was published in 1971 by George Cockcroft under the pen name Luke Rhinehart and tells the story of a psychiatrist named Luke Rhinehart who, feeling bored and unfulfilled in life, starts making decisions about what to do based on the roll of a dice.

The novel is noted for its subversivity, anti-psychiatry sentiments and for reflecting moods of the early 1970s. The controversial issues rendered it banned in several countries.

Upon its initial publication, the cover bore the confident subheader, "This book can change your life" and quickly became a modern cult classic.

"The Dice Man is recommended for readers who are willing to suspend the sense of their own importance for the sake of enjoying a fictional world, and to tolerate an alien system of morality for the time it takes to read this original and amusing satire."
