  • Food

    Gingerboy

It's not cheap hawker style food but it is memorable & delicious. Most of the dishes at Gingerboy are slightly on the spicy side but you'd expect that with this style.
Wagu dumplings, spicy papya salad, tempura oysters & duck curry not to mention a share dessert plate. Cocktails too.
    The wait staff are impressive.
You do have to do the 6.30 or 8.30pm sittings, if you don't like feeling rushed, especially on the first sitting, it may not be the leisurely dinner you had planned. The decor is cool.

    Turner's Paintbox

Lyrical, stylish, and at times achingly poignant, Turner's Paintbox is a love story like no other.
Gerard Moyne is a Sydney-based art consultant with a passion for the genius of Turner. He has a particular way of looking at things - discerning, sometimes a little callous, always out of the ordinary. When he meets Julia he falls blindly in love with her, unable to see her as she is.
Shadowing their affair is the story of J.M.W. Turner. Known as the Painter of Light, he captured that element within his canvas, as Gerard is captured within the force field of Julia. Her exuberant spontaneity is the opposite of his ordered control, their attraction as mysterious as the workings of art. When it all comes horribly undone, Gerard's perception of life changes profoundly.

  • Listen

    The Sleepy Jackson

The Sleepy Jackson's poetic music is kooky and lovable. The Perth born band have been touring Australia promoting their album, Personality (One Was a Spider, One Was A Bird). Their latest single release, God Lead Your Soul is refreshing and easy on the ears.
