    The Shack

    It was announced last week that 1806, a bar that opened inn Melbourne last October, had won an award for its cocktail list. The award was won for Best Cocktail List in the World at the New Orleans Tales of the Cocktail Festival and it's the first Melbourne bar to receive the award, beating other bars in London, New York, Vienna and Copenhagen.
    Their top selling drink is the Aviation. The first cocktail was defined in print in 1806 and the cocktail list follows a time line from that year. There's a cocktail for every decade, now that's worth drinking to!
