    Art Deco 1910 - 1939

    As part of Melbourne Winter Masterpieces the NGV are featuring decorative arts for the first time. In this Art Deco exhibition from London's Victoria and Albert Museum you can see all types of media from painting to photography, fashion to film and architecture to jewellery.

    Journal Canteen

    Run by Rosa Mitchell, Canteen is great little find, overlooking Flinders Lane and Degraves Street. The italian menu is not extensive but it certainly delivers on flavour, freshness and price. Keeping it simple often works best and it certainly does here.
