  • Read

    War and Peace

Are you up for a challenge? Supposedly one of the most difficult novels to read, it is also a wonderfully rich story. And quite an accomplishment to boast about once you've read its 1500 pages. War and Peace was originally written in Russian by Leo Tolstoy in the 1800s but has since been translated into most languages.
The scope of the novel is extremely vast, but the narration focuses mainly on five or six characters whose differing personalities and experiences provide the driving force to the story, with their mutual interactions leading up to, around and following the Napoleonic war.

    Kate Nash

Kate Nash has an indie pop rock sound which is the canvas upon which her witty lyrics are placed. The London based, Irish born singer is only 20 years old, but brings a unique, interesting feel to music. Feels a bit like a feminine version of 'The Streets'.
