Lars and the Real Girl
Lars and the Real Girl is about a delusional young guy who strikes up an unconventional relationship with a doll he finds on the internet. The residents in the town pretend this doll is his girlfriend because they love Lars and pity him. Starring Ryan Gosling (The Notebook) and Emily Mortimer (Match Point).

Bouzy Rouge
Think tapas, paella, gold mirrors, animal prints and waiters in leather aprons and that pretty much sums up Bouzy Rouge. Similar to the style of The Palace pub in South Melbourne, Bouzy Rouge is an upmarket pub that also caters for functions with a courtyard and a funky lounge/cocktail bar upstairs. It's also named after a French red wine.

After breaking up with his girlfriend Annie Hall, neurotic comedian Alvy Singer goes on a journey through his memories of their relationship, trying to find out what caused them to part ways. He often breaks the fourth wall, speaking to the camera, entering peoples' stories, and even using animation. Annie Hall is a classic, must see Woody Allen film. It is the role that won Diane Keaton an Oscar and features her iconic men's style dress sense.

Anzac Day is this Friday. It's the day we remember the sacrifice of those who died in war - the First World War and all other wars.
If you can't make it to Anzac Cove in Gallipoli to commemorate, then set your alarm and get along to the Dawn Service at The Shrine.

If you can't get up early, there is always the Commemoration March
from 9am to 12.30pm in the city and the Commemoration Ceremony at 12.45 at the Shrine.

Lily Blacks is a dimly lit space that calls itself a cocktail salon and certainly delivers. One of those bars hidden down a little alley way somewhere, it offers a sizable menu of original and classic cocktails and an atmosphere that suggests a vibe of 1920s with potted palms, heavy wooded bar, old fashioned light fittings and smartly dressed wait staff.
